Aperature Card (made before the broken hand)

I saw info on making an aperature card on Hopefully Heather's Blog about making an apperature or punch card.  I did this card before I broke my hand but am only now getting around to posting it.  Especially since card making isn't in the mix right now, LOL.  Any way, while very time consuming and definitely more work than I am used to, this card turned out quite well in  my opinion.
This card is all white cardstock.  I used copics to color the image which is from Our Craft Lounge.  I used my bigshot to embossed the card itself.  All of the embellishments were cut out on my cricut.  Edges were inked with Memento Cocoa and light green inky dinky dots in the center of the flowers.  Check out Heathers blog and to lead to the site that she got her instructions from.  Great new technique to try!

Our Craft Lounge

Our Craft Lounge has posted their weekly challenge sketch.  As always, it is great.  You have to use one of their stamps to qualify for the monthly prize (one of their sets).

White card base with embossing using swiss dots folder.  Nesties to cut out the image and sentiment.  Ribbon from my stash, dazzling diamonds from SU, copics for coloring and Diamond glaze on the glass for dimension.  The image and sentiment, both from OCL set "Cheers".  These are mounted on dimensionals over a strip of white gloss paper colored with alcohol inks.  Love this technique!

Doodle Dragon Studios

Today I managed to get a card done for the Doodle Dragon Studio challenge.  This image is now a part of High hopes but was done by Dustin Pike quite a while ago.  He is really just to cute!
I used copics to color, some ribbon I recieved with an order, flower I won from Fantabulous Cricut and papers I had in my scrap basket.  Really now, isn't he just to cute!  Lots of fun to color.
