Thank you.........

I will not be blogging much in the next little while as I am going back to college.  I am looking forward to the new challenge but definitely not to the homework!  LOL
This card is to my friends out there in blogger land....Thanks for visiting, commenting and supporting me these last couple of years.
I have a few more cards done that I will be posting when I get a few free minutes.  I would guess I will be needing some 'down time' occassionally and hopefully will be able to get some crafting done then.

Spring is in the air....

Seems like everybody is posting challenges for 'Spring' or 'Spring Colors'.
So.......I decided that was what I was going to do!  LOL

I watched about 20 You Tube video's and decided to try a 'Magic Card'.
Love the plain looking front image and the colored 'magic' that appears when you pull the ribbon slide up!

and when you pull the slide up...... It's magically in color!

Pretty simple and really cute IRL.  If your mojo is lacking, I really can't tell you enough what a help  You Tube is.  Go on over, get into the crafting and just watch!  Amazing how-to videos wiith ideas that are never ending.

This is the card that I made for a friend who had an accident.  I used an artist's perrogative and turned Dudly into Dudette by coloring in pink!  LOL

Some new rubbah to hop with!

Welcome to FBD's March Rubber Stamp release and blog hop! If you are getting here from Yolanda's blog then you are right on track! If not, please start off at our artist and designers blog Heather's Coffee Break.

All around the country, it may seem like our calendars are deceiving us. It is only March but there is the growing feeling that SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! Here at Fresh Brewed Designs we are getting spring fever! We are itching to bring out our bicycles, picnic baskets, spring decor and walking shoes so we can fully enjoy the unseasonably warm weather. Our Rubber Stamp Release for March is celebrating all of this as well. We are getting ready for planting gardens, watching butterflies fluttering about, listening to bumblebees buzzing all around and hearing birds singing. We are celebrating all of the NEW things spring brings. Some of us like to decorate for spring holidays. Others will be welcoming someone to the neighborhood or welcoming home a new little one. Whatever it is you are celebrating this spring, Fresh Brewed Designs has a stamp to help you create for it!

The new releases this month include Gardening Granny, Come and Knock on my Door, and Wreath Girl. They are each unique and so versatile! Our lovely door can be decorated for any of your needs. New home, new baby, Christmas, Easter, Halloween... you name it! Same goes for our lovely Wreath Girl. Granny is so fun and can be used for anything from serious to humorous. I love her funky style don't you?

I chose to create with Gardening Granny for this release

Isn't she just the cutest granny on the block!

If you would like to see what I have done with another of the new release stamps (when it was only available in a digi) go to see 'Come Knock on my Door' HERE

Garden time

This week on Fresh Brewed Designs Heather is looking for some 'Plants / Outdoor screnery'.  She has all kinds of cute digis and stamps to make this a really easy one.
I am playing with two of the new digis for March. I just 'blended' them together for one card.

They are called 'Daniel in the garden' and 'Grace in the garden'  and they are really cute images!
Quite fun and easy to color!  I teamed it up with a sentiment from an OCL stamp set and
I thought it turned out pretty good!

Photo inspiration

Once again blogger has failed me.  My apologies for this posting being late.

There is a wonderful photo inspiration challenge going on over at Fresh Brewed Designs!
It all starts today and the theme is caffeine.  Well, it is actually coffee mugs but since I don't drink coffee I chose to go straight to the "juice" and go with caffeine!  LOL

Here is the photo inspiration.......

Using Heather's coffee cup stack from the coffee shop digis and one of the new rubber stamp sentiments, I made this card......

Obviously, my inspiration was the stacks of cups!  Duh!
