Today I joined in at the new sketch challenge listed on Our Craft Lounge.
As always, they have a new sketch challenge every Friday, pick a winner the first of every month. This winner get the OCL stamp set of their choice (and boy are there alot of choices!) mailed right to their house. I challenges are always beautiful sketches, and really fun to do. This is my 2nd card. (see the 1st one below)
I decided to go with Halloween. The black cat, the ghost, bats and spiders just fit onto the spiderweb background paper from 'The Paper Patch'.
The stamp set is Spook-tacular by OCL.
Mememto ink, versa mark ink and ranger clear detail embossing powder were all used.
The clouds behind the cat and ghost are a Stampscapes stamp.
The coloring is with copics.
The ribbon from Michaels.
Dazzling diamonds from SU for some bling.
This is actually the 2nd card I did for this challenge. I really don't care for the first one. Not sure what I should have done with it. Just doesn't seem 'right'. I am including a look at it in hopes someone will know what to do with it. (short of just pitching it, which is what my first inclination was!)
Anyway, that all folks!

Such too-cool shading surrounding this fab little ghostie & kitty! Love the happy feeling this brings, and happy to see you playing along with the OCL sketch too, Tammie!
Happy Weekend!
