Fresh Brew - It's a Guy Thing

This is my first post for Fresh Brewed Designs.  I am a guest DT for the summer months and
I AM EXCITED!  LOL.
Heather has a wonderful challenge blog (Fresh Brewed Challenges) with different challenges being posted all month long.  Today we are starting June off with "It's a Guy Thing".  Make a card or project for a guy and enter at Fresh Brewed Challenges.  You don't have to use a FBD image but we would love to see one (and it is worth a second entry)!
Go to the FBD store, do a little shopping and then get creative!  I made a gift card holder, just perfect for a
guy!
The Fresh Brewed Design digital stamp that I chose is called 'It's all Good".  Isn't that the truth!
The background is silver mirror card run through my diamond plate CB embossing folder.  Looks just like the metal on the tool box in the back of those work trucks that you see!
The whipped cream even has liquid applique stuff that puffs when you heat it.  Looks pretty real!
The "embellishments" in the lower left corner are some kind of washer  (I call them sprockets) from my local hardware store.  I can't make a card without some embellishment.  Ribbon and flowers didn't seem right!  hehe  The images are coloring with copic markers and layered onto a glossy black "table" top.

Inside has the same embossed mirror cardstock except for behind the gift card pocket.  That is left plain kraft card stock so there is somewhere to write.  The sentiment is from Create with TLC.  It is cut out with Spellbinders and placed on a glossy black matt.  Just add a coffee shop gift card and TaDa, you have a perfect gift for that hard to buy for guy. (They all love coffee!)
This card may be entered in the following challenges:
Fresh Brewed Designs:  It's a Guy Thing (DT card)
Sparkles Forum:  Something Metal
Lexi's creations:  Father's day or for a guy
Craft Your Passion:  What a Guy!
Claudia & Co.:  Fancy Folds
Cards for Men:  No designer paper
Do It with Digis:  Male theme, must use a digi
Prairie Fairy Fridays:  More than one Fold (gift-card holder built into the inside of the card)
Craft Your Days Away:  Father's day or for a special man
CES Challenge:  Embossing

I LOVE THIS!!! I mean I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! What a PERFECT guy card! I love the bg paper. That folder is a must have and the mirror paper was the PERFECT choice. My dad has always worked on our cars and does all the odd and not so odd jobs that we all need fixing. That man can do anything!!! and he loves his coffee. I remember as a child he would always drink his full of sugar, no powder creamer (he said it makes it taste greasy) and he would dip a folded over in half PB sandwich in it. Soggy and gross now that I think about it, but it makes me smile. :) I love the smell of metal and oil and those car smells because it reminds me of Daddy coming home. Even today when he works on the car or house, he still smells that way. I sure did go off on a trip down memory lane didn't I?!?! Sorry for the novel!!!
Back to your card ~ I was so happy to see that image being used!!! I have wanted to create with it, but just have not had the chance.

Again, WELCOME to the team. We are so happy to have you!:)

HUGS and have a lovely week!
